A leading automotive company in Markham is seeking a Senior Controls Developer. This role involves leading the design of vehicle dynamic control systems and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, with at least 3 years of experience in controls system development. Work Arrangement: Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Oshawa or Markham office three times per week, at minimum.

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic team as a Senior Controls Developer specializing in vehicle dynamic controls and software implementations.
Our team is working on advanced control methods to design and develop driveline systems for a wide range of vehicles and functions: from trailer braking control for trucks, to electronically locking differnetials for offroading vehicles, to eLSD for the performance vehicles. We are looking for a senior controls developer that can lead the design and development of various vehicle dynamics related control features in collaboration with the system teams, feature teams and calibration teams. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring optimal traction, stability, and vehicle dynamics, while also maximizing energy efficiency and driver satisfaction.
There will also be the opportunity to work on GM's in-house software for mechanical AWD system.
