Overview
Design, build, and support the infrastructure and tooling that power live, mobile-driven game shows. Work with a small but impactful team on cutting‑edge consumer technology.
Responsibilities
- Build and enhance automation for cloud infrastructure provisioning and product deployments using Terraform, Jenkins, and Packer.
- Develop internal tools, scripts, and services that improve developer productivity and reduce operational burden.
- Design, implement, and support CI/CD pipelines for backend, web, mobile, and interactive game systems.
- Architect scalable, containerized solutions leveraging Docker and cloud orchestration.
- Assist with load testing, performance tuning, and capacity planning across multiple environments.
- Prepare, deploy, and support infrastructure for live demos, partner‑facing events, and show environments.
- Improve operational processes by streamlining, consolidating, and automating workflows.
- Monitor system health, maintain observability tooling, and contribute to reliability and performance improvements.
- Participate in on‑call rotations and handle incident response for live events or urgent issues.
- Support occasional client site visits for installations, troubleshooting, or major activations.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering team through daily Scrum meetings, sprint planning, code reviews, and Agile practices.
Qualifications
- 2.5 years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or site reliability roles.
- Strong programming and scripting skills (Python, Bash, TypeScript, or PowerShell).
- Experience with Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu, AlmaLinux) and Windows.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Expertise in Terraform, Packer, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Git.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines).
- Experience with Docker, containerized services, and artifact management.
- Solid understanding of Linux administration, networking, and cloud security basics.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tooling (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, CloudWatch).
- Basic project management familiarity.

Job Details
- Location: Toronto, ON – On‑site.
- Position: Full time.
- Salary: $80,000 – $120,000 per year.
- Start date: As soon as possible.
