You'll collaborate with Legal, Product, and Engineering teams to help shape and secure the future of onchain privacy. - Conduct privacy assessments for new features and products (especially onchain/blockchain innovations).
- Translate legal privacy guidance into clear operational or technical requirements.
- Manage privacy-related issues from discovery to remediation across the product lifecycle.
- Maintain and improve privacy control frameworks, ensuring alignment with global regulations.
- Partner cross-functionally to implement Privacy by Design into engineering, marketing, and data workflows.
- Monitor risk, escalate critical findings, and push for timely resolutions.
- Stay ahead of regulatory shifts and emerging tech challenges (AI, ML, Web3, etc.).
- 1+ years in privacy, technology risk, or cybersecurity (internships or academic projects welcome).
- Familiarity with privacy laws: CCPA, GDPR, PIPEDA, ePrivacy.
- Comfortable reviewing data flows, product specs, and system designs.
- Strong communication skills – written, verbal, and cross-functional.
- Organized, self-motivated, and hungry to grow.
- Passionate about Web3, crypto, and open financial systems.
- FinTech or Blockchain experience.
- Hands-on with frameworks like NIST Privacy, ISO 27701, or similar.
- Privacy certifications: CIPP, CIPT, CIPM.
- Experience building or auditing privacy programs or tools.
- Canada: CAD $122,600/year
- U.S.: USD $117,000 – $138,100/year
