As we continue to grow we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Data Center Metro Technician to join our team and drive our relationships with hyperscale clients to new heights.

Schedule : Training - Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm PST. 12 hour shifts - Sunday through Tuesday every other Wednesday or Thursday through Saturday every other Wednesday

Salary : $61000 CAD

Data Center Metro Technician

The following Services shall be performed by the Metro Techs :

• Support data center operations and IT systems network services business critical processes and procedures to support the delivery of customer products and services
• Provide technical operational and administrative support including as it relates to colocation connectivity and network products and services
• Support internal networks IT infrastructure computers electronics and telephone systems
• Plan and execute network deployments
• Install and deploy IT and network hardware
• Make and run patch cables as well as verify testing cable paths
• Oversee access to and work within the facilities including work related to structured cable installation circuit delivery and equipment installations
• Support maintenance of infrastructure network equipment and network services including but not limited to break fix work
• Perform Data Center hardware and inventory audits
• Process incoming shipment label packages and maintaining designated storage
• Help manage tickets from end to end
• Travel to nearby cities
• Assist with capacity and power audits.
