Sales Coordinator

Reporting To: Rob Briscoe

Compensation: $70,000 - $75,000 / year

Description

MISSION: Support the Sales team of up to five people by owning the sales intelligence systems – industry maps, customer mind maps, customer org charts, CRM, account plans and program workbooks – ensuring consistent, reliable data across a growing multi‑site manufacturing business. The role also includes performance dashboard, customer communications, maintaining accurate sales and market data, preparing materials for customer meetings, and ensuring the team is organized, informed, and ready to win. You are accountable for creating and maintaining the Sales structure and ensuring rigor that enable us to win and grow the business 5x over the next five years.

Outcomes:
3 month goal:
  • All seven industries mapped and updated regularly.
  • Build and maintain Industry "Mind Maps" for the seven industry segments (Digital mind maps capture all industry intelligence regarding activity, capabilities, relationships, people, projects and more for each industry.
4 month goal:
  • Build and maintain Customer "Mind Maps" for each of our top customers and prospects (To include all relevant details - insights that will show inner workings of each account -people, relationships, scopes of work, problem areas etc, including customer org charts).
6 month goal:
  • 20 mind maps created with regular updates.
Customer & Industry Intelligence:
  • Build and maintain Industry Maps for seven industry segments (digital visual maps that show the locations of all customers, competitors, major suppliers, project locations and other relevant information).
CRM Accuracy & Reporting:
  • Own CRM data hygiene (accuracy and current): contacts, accounts, opportunities, revenue, key actions. Validate entries for accuracy, duplicates, correct stages, and completeness.
  • Produce monthly sales dashboard.
Sales Team Enablement:
  • Maintain program workbooks for every Sales opportunity in the Bid Process.
  • Maintain account plans including action tracking.
  • Prepare meeting briefs including attendee profiles, industry and account snapshots based off of CRM, Maps and Mind Maps.
  • Document meeting notes, action items, and follow-ups within 24 hours. Manage scheduling, agendas, distribution of materials, and customer-facing logistics. Prepare customer visits.

Technical & Process:
  • Extreme attention to detail — accurate data, names, figures, and documents.
  • Proficient with CRM systems.
  • Skilled at mind map and design software (ie: photoshop) for creating and maintaining maps. Strong with Excel, dashboards, tracking tools.
  • Able to assemble presentations & proposals.
  • Understanding of complex sales cycles and manufacturing workflows.
  • Information synthesis — summarizes clearly without data dumping.
