Automotive Quality Engineer — Data-Driven Improvement
Job summary
A leading automotive parts manufacturer in Windsor, ON is seeking a Quality Engineer who will enhance quality improvement processes by applying statistical methods and analyzing data. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in Quality within the Automotive Industry, possess excellent analytical and organizational skills, and be capable of managing quality audits. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field. This role affords the opportunity to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years’ experience in Quality in the Automotive Industry.
- Knowledge of PPAP, PFMEA, DFMEA and APQP.
- Ability to develop and implement quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Determines quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods.
- Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
- Ensures the company is fully prepared for all IATF 16949 audits.
