The City of Kawartha Lakes is seeking a temporary Communications, Advertising and Marketing Officer to lead the development of marketing strategies and plans. This role requires strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and a background in public relations or marketing. Key responsibilities include consulting with departments on needs, managing website content, and executing marketing plans across municipal platforms.

Wage $34.27 - $37.07 per hour (2025)

Location 26 Francis Street, Lindsay, ON.
Hours Temporary Full-Time, Normal working hours are 35 hours per week.
Other General office environment with some travel throughout the City of Kawartha Lakes, in accordance with job requirements. Ability to attend meetings, events and promotional activities, which may be outside of normal business hours.
Position Summary
Under the direction of the Manager, Communications, Advertising and Marketing, this position will play an integral role in developing and implementing the Communications, Advertising and Marketing Strategy for the City; assisting Departments with their advertising and marketing needs by developing plans and supporting marketing and communication materials to achieve desired results.
