Our client, a leading network security provider, has engaged ROSS (www.getROSS.com) to help them recruit a Senior Account System Engineer. 1. Participate in development of multi-year account plans for complex, strategic accounts.
2. Act as SE team lead on projects impacting overall organization.
3. Act as customer's primary point of contact for all technical needs, and proactively develop technical relationships at all levels of the account, including senior executives and product management.
4. Deliver product presentations and demonstrations internally and externally on all relevant solutions.
5. Coordinate with Marketing and Sales to ensure that company initiatives are timely and appropriate for current end user and/or market demand.
6. Responsible for partner satisfaction regarding technical aspects of initiatives.
7. Act as project lead to ensure that partner's specific product requirements are addressed in both current and future product development.
8. Assist sales with building business cases for new opportunities.
9. Maintain technical knowledge of competitive solutions.
10. Manage all technical aspects of account in highly complex go-to-market model, leveraging both internal and partner resources.
11. Use professional and technical concepts to contribute to development of company concepts and principles and to achieve objectives in creative and effective ways.
12. Apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts.
13. Contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas.
14. Use knowledge, creativity, and company practices and priorities to obtain solutions to complex problems.
15. Work on extremely complex accounts where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variables.
16. Exercise independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
2. 5-8 years experience in systems administration, pre-sales or related field.
3. Previous vendor and or pre-sales Systems Engineering experience required.
4. Expertise in security solutions and/or enterprise technology or software solutions.
5. Have the ability to handle project management responsibilities for implementation of company related solutions assigned by the manager.
6. Must possess presentation-ready knowledge of several solutions and possess expertise in products making up one or more solutions.
7. Ability to present a professional appearance and demeanor.
8. Ability to relate to a wide range of technical staff and managers in customer environments.
9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
