Job summary
A local municipal authority in Wasaga Beach seeks five creative and energetic Summer Day Camp Counsellors for a temporary full-time position. Responsibilities include the creation and delivery of engaging programs for children aged 4 to 10, ensuring safety and effective communication with campers and staff. Strong interpersonal skills and a valid First Aid CPR certification are required. A competitive hourly rate of $18.50 to $20.01 is offered. Applications close on January 25, 2026.
Qualifications
- Minimum age 16.
- Prior experience working with children ages 0 to 12 preferred.
- First Aid CPR – C with AED certification is required.
Responsibilities
- Create and deliver programs to campers aged 4 to 10.
- Engage with campers in various recreational activities.
- Maintain safety and staff-to-camper ratios.
