About the role
Job Description
As an Account Manager you will be the primary relationship manager for multiple Home, Car and Travel affinity partnerships, concentrated in Nova Scotia with others throughout the Maritimes. You will have a strategic impact on the growth and development of your groups. You will collaborate with our partners to develop strategic growth plans to achieve common business objectives. You will be responsible for representing belairdirect at client events and speaking engagements; executing marketing plans to build member awareness and driving quote activity; maintaining account governance; and providing monthly and quarterly reporting. You will also be asked to identify and develop new group opportunities.
What you will do here:
Account Management
Primary relationship manager with multiple affinity partners, predominately in Nova Scotia with others throughout the Maritimes.
Align partner interest per agreements to achieve direct distribution annual plan and drive premium growth.
Analyze opportunities and constraints for each partnership and make recommendations to drive member awareness.
Gain optimal direct communications touch point with groups or obtain new access where we currently have none
Focus on existing account execution, ensuringprofitability and growth within these accounts aredelivered.
Coordinate and deliver quarterly/annual reporting withgroup executive to review results and strategize forgrowth opportunities.
Confidence to manage large scale client events and represent belairdirect with memberships , including speaking opportunities.
Communicate and articulate the organization's strategic vision concerning business plans, growth plans, products and business philosophy.
Become an expert in our Preferred Home, Car and Travel Group Insurance Program offering and be knowledgeable to promote other productofferings to both members and executives.
Managing customer and client escalations with group executive as needed.
Work closely with internal stakeholders such as marketing, data analysts and operations to align on goals and objectives.
Business Development
Develop and close new business pipeline bringing new partnerships to the organization.
Responsible to cross sell/introduce all product offerings into existing groups .
Leverage events as lead generation opportunity .
Objective: To have a minimum of 3 active leads within pipeline.
What you bring to the table:
Strong relationship management both internally and externally
Can meet deadlines while managing multiple accounts and projects simultaneously
Systematically monitors projects and follows up on tasks
Experience in working with multi-million accounts driving growth initiatives
Experience in growth projections, budgeting, planning and executing on marketing plans a strong asset
A business development mindset
College diploma or university degree or any combination of equivalent education and experience
Over 5 years of experience
Is well organized and attentive to detail
Excellent communication skills and creative skills
Can works independently but also as part of a team
Takes initiative and shares ideas
Ability to problem solve
Drive and motivation to achieve results
Is professional, courteous and respectful

Is customer-driven
Expert in Microsoft Office products. In particular Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to produce executive quality presentation to deliver results and strategies.
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
Bilingual in English and French would be an asset, as interactions are required with colleagues across the country
Valid driver's license required.
Please note that candidates will be asked to travel, primarily within the Maritimes and may need to work outside of regular hours of operation in order to attend events.
