Mpower’s success has been largely due to our relentless efforts to develop our in-house sales staff and have them fast-track through the ranks into leadership roles.

Mpower proudly offers an exciting opportunity for a full-time W-2 Residential Solar Consultant at our Brooklyn, NY office. This is a hands on Closer role and will require a proactive attitude and initiative to generate your own appointments as well as the support from our team of appointment setters that will also schedule qualified appointments for you to meet with homeowners. The Solar Residential Consultant is an integral part of the Solar Division, being the primary point of contact with customers and providing them with details on the benefits of going solar. The ideal candidate will utilize strong critical thinking skills, has an ambitious attitude, and a strong work ethic to effectively demonstrate the benefits of partnering with Mpower for their Solar needs.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct sales presentations with prospective customers in their home
  • Generate own appointments and obtain referrals from existing customers
  • Educate potential clients about the benefits of solar–saving + environment
  • Analyze electricity usage to confirm customer wants and needs while developing rapport to enable you to close the sale
  • Manage accounts from an initial consultation to the installation
  • Ensure a positive and high-quality customer experience
  • Participate in ongoing training camps focused on increasing your earning potential, team building, and mentoring from our leaders

Income Expectation:

  • Daily direct marketing leads are provided
  • On Target Earnings: $150k-$200k
  • Monthly car stipend: $300.00
  • Potential to enroll into Senior Solar Consultant within 12 months and earn 2x Solar Consultant Earnings
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience as a Solar Consultant or Inhome Consultant in Home remodelling, windows or roofing or Sales Consultant automotive or Residential Sales in telecommunications industry experience
  • Previous canvassing experience preferred and ability to generate own appointnments
  • English/Spanish bilingual preferred
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Positive, solution-oriented attitude

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record; own vehicle

Competitive salary $40,000 base and OTE of $150,000-$200,000; Base, commissions, bonuses $300 car allowance per month
