Here’s how a(n) Labour Relations Administrative Clerk for our Edmonton Industrial office contributes to our team:

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the Labour Relations team through preparation for daily events and follow up actions (e.g. scheduling and coordinating meetings, maintaining action lists and reminders, meeting preparation).
  • Ensuring timelines are monitored and achieved by multiple stakeholders.
  • Assisting the Labour Relations team with onboarding processes by liaising with other departments and craft employees.
  • Providing clerical assistance with correspondence and preparation of emails, letters, and documents as well as electronic and manual filing of documents.
  • Providing data entry support.
  • Verifying documents with various provincial authorities.
  • Assisting with other general administrative duties as required.
Qualifications
  • 0-2 or more years of administrative experience, preferably in the industrial construction sector, is considered an asset.
  • Post‑secondary degree or diploma or certificate in office administration program is considered an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional and service‑oriented approach internally and externally.
  • Strong computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Self‑management skills to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks with conflicting deadlines.
  • Able to work in a fast‑paced environment to meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented.
