Job Description:

WirelessCom.Ca Inc. is currently seeking a motivated and reliable Data & Fiber Cabling Technician to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting structured data and fiber optic cabling systems for commercial and industrial projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Install, route, and secure structured data and fiber optic cabling
  • Terminate and test Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic cables
  • Install and label patch panels, faceplates, and network racks
  • Perform cable testing and troubleshooting
  • Work on ladders, lifts, and elevated platforms
  • Follow safety procedures and job site standards
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas
Requirements:
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Clean criminal record
  • Ability to work at heights
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools
  • Previous cabling experience is an asset
  • Willingness to learn (training provided)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Starting pay: $20.00/hour, with potential up to $40.00/hour based on experience and performance
  • Paid vacation and paid sick days
