A leading company in transit services is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team overseeing the performance standards of rolling stock and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Electromechanical Engineering, with significant experience in maintenance within a railway or transit environment. This pivotal role also involves troubleshooting, process improvement, and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure operational excellence and safety.
Purpose of Role: The Engineering Manager is responsible for leading a team of multidisciplined Engineers to ensure that the rolling stock, track & signals, and infrastructure meets or exceeds performance standards. This is accomplished by ensuring that effective inspection, maintenance and engineering processes are adhered to at all times. The Engineering Manager will be responsible for creating and leading the reliability and sustainability plan for Keolis Gran River’s Rolling Stock and Infrastructure maintenance. In addition, will utilize their team to assist technicians in troubleshooting problems that may arise and serve as the principal contact between Keolis and the manufacturers of the Vehicles, components, and equipment.

Key Accountabilities
1. Leading subject matter expertise in rolling stock and infrastructure maintenance and troubleshooting, your responsibilities include:
Providing technical advice and guidance to the Maintenance Production Manager and staff, offering insights on technical matters and best practices. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technical changes from manufacturers, and align with corporate direction and contractual requirements.
2. Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of standards and quality management for rolling stock maintenance. Responsibilities include:
Researching, developing, implementing, supporting, and maintaining standards for all rolling stock and infrastructure maintenance activities, following the Maintenance Lifecycle-based philosophy.
Analyzing rolling stock availability, reliability, maintainability, and safety, incorporating the RAMS philosophy.
Writing, recommending, implementing, and auditing maintenance and quality procedures and work instructions to ensure adherence to best practices, quality assurance, and compliance in rolling stock maintenance activities.
Making recommendations for operational and equipment changes based on safety and optimal performance.
Conducting and leading safety and reliability investigations as required.
Establishing and nurturing collaborative relationships across Keolis and with relevant stakeholders, including subcontractors, to promote quality programs and cultivate a culture of quality.
