A leading marketing firm in Toronto is seeking a Publications Specialist to format and publish technical documents and materials. This 12-month hybrid contract requires over 2 years of experience in document control or technical content formatting, along with strong English skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365. MoD is looking for a Publications Specialist to format, edit, and publish technical documents, drawings, and software-related materials for our client. You’ll prepare accurate, standards-driven documents for internal teams and customer deliverables. The work is structured, repetitive, and highly detail-focused.
This is a 12-month contract, hybrid opportunity.
You have over 2 years experience in document control or technical content formatting, strong English skills, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Visio). You’re comfortable working independently, learning technical tools, and handling multiple deadlines. If you have experience with platforms like DOORS/Polarion, ClearQuest, or Nitro, strong asset!
This role combines technical documentation and publishing in a way few jobs do. It’s ideal for someone who prefers focused, repetitive work, isn’t intimidated by technical drawings, and values accuracy over creativity. You’ll work with specialized engineering content and evolving tools—including AI—while supporting high-precision, non-public deliverables.
