Location: Shannen Koostachin; 110 Bellagio Avenue, Hannon ON L0R 1P0. Total Weekly Hours: 16.5 hours/week. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:45 am – 9:45 am. Pay Rate: $28.46 per hour (per Collective Agreement, includes wage grants).

Who We’re Looking For
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1‑year experience working directly with children or in a childcare setting.
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or equivalent (e.g., Child & Youth Worker, Child and Youth Care, OCT, Recreation & Leisure diploma).
Certifications
  • Standard First Aid with CPR Level C
  • Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check
  • Proof of up‑to‑date immunizations (TB, Tetanus, MMR)
Skills & Knowledge
  • Familiarity with How Does Learning Happen? (an asset)
  • Strong understanding of child development and age‑appropriate activities.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Collaborate with Hamilton Wentworth District School Board faculty.
