A leading ice cream franchise in Victoria is seeking a finance professional to handle payroll, prepare financial records, and ensure accuracy in tax returns. Candidates should have relevant education and at least one year of experience in the field. The role is on-site at the company's location, with no remote work options available. Qualifications
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience required.
- English language proficiency is necessary.
Responsabilités
- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll.
- Calculate fixed assets and depreciation.
- Keep financial records using bookkeeping systems.
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
- Post journal entries.
- Prepare statistical and financial reports.
- Prepare tax returns.
- Prepare trial balance of books.
Formation
Languages: English
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- or equivalent experience
1 year to less than 2 years
On site
Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Tasks
- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
- Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
- Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
- Post journal entries
- Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
- Prepare tax returns
- Prepare trial balance of books
