Overview

Stone Tile International Inc. is looking for a Marketing Manager.

Celebrating our 30th anniversary in 2022, we are North America’s leading fashion house of natural and manufactured tiles, stone, and wood. With over 160 employees and showrooms across major Canadian cities such as Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, and Calgary, we are seeking to improve our international reputation as a luxury design firm for the architects and designers' community as well as discerning residential customers to redefine their spaces to transcend the ordinary.

The Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and amplifying the Stone Tile brand across Canada, through our galleries and online experiences. This leader will oversee integrated campaigns, brand storytelling, and cross-functional collaborations to ensure Stone Tile is top-of-mind in the design and luxury surfaces market.

The role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, combining creativity with data-driven decision-making to deliver measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing
  • Oversee the evolution of Stone Tile's digital presence: website, designer landing pages, product detail pages (PDPs), digital aftercare guides, and slab reserve campaigns.
  • Lead content planning for social media, newsletters, and digital campaigns; ensure consistent brand voice and visuals aligned to gallery-esque positioning while tailoring content for B2B audiences and homeowners.
  • Importantly, this role will also be integral to our digital performance marketing experience, requiring hands-on experience building and managing marketing assets within a Magento e-commerce environment (including templates, PDPs, and landing pages).
  • Monitor analytics dashboards; optimize campaigns based on KPIs such as conversion, engagement, cost-per-lead, and ROI.
  • Partner with external agencies to manage paid performance marketing campaigns, including setting goals, aligning budgets, and reviewing performance reports to ensure ROI targets are met.
  • Coordinate with agencies on SEO / SEM strategies for both Magento and Shopify environments, ensuring recommendations align with business priorities and deliver improved search visibility and traffic quality.
  • Collaborate with the VP of eCommerce and agency partners on conversion rate optimization (CRO) by reviewing A / B test results, funnel performance, and UX improvements, then applying insights to guide next steps.
Brand & Campaign Leadership
  • Plan and execute national marketing campaigns, ensuring synergy across digital channels, social platforms, galleries, and trade show activations.
  • Manage designer-focused initiatives such as The Edit and The Spotlight.
  • Partner with Events & Hospitality on campaigns that integrate gallery activations with digital storytelling.
  • Own campaign calendars, brand guidelines, and creative briefs, ensuring alignment across all channels.
  • Track and report on campaign performance with post-mortems and recommendations for future improvement.
Content & Storytelling
  • Translate product launches into compelling narratives across digital, print, and in-gallery signage.
  • Oversee creation of photography, video, and editorial content that showcases Stone Tile products in aspirational, real-life design contexts.
  • Develop and manage a centralized content library for use across web, social, and sales enablement tools.
Collaboration & Leadership
  • Partner closely with the VP of eCommerce, Chief Customer & Gallery Officer, and President on strategic brand direction.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration with sales, galleries, and operations to ensure marketing supports business performance and growth.
  • Manage external agencies, vendors, and creative partners; negotiate contracts and ensure deliverables are on time and on budget.
  • Provide guidance to junior staff or freelancers as the marketing function scales.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • Years of marketing experience (luxury, retail, design, or lifestyle industry preferred).
  • Proven success managing marketing campaigns.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to juggle multiple campaigns.
  • Exceptional written and visual storytelling skills with a luxury brand sensibility.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in Google Analytics, and campaign reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience with Magento (or similar CMS / e-commerce platforms) including content updates, template creation, and campaign landing pages.
  • Hands-on knowledge of performance marketing channels (Google Ads, Meta, SEO / SEM, CRO) and experience translating results into strategy.
  • Collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Work Environment
  • Primarily office and gallery-based, with occasional travel to exhibitions, events, or client locations.
  • May involve evening or weekend work to support gallery openings, events, or VIP client interactions.
