Job Summary

In this role you will be responsible to supervise our organization’s warehouse operations with guidance from the Operations Manager. This role is essential to our overall corporate objective—to ensure that the warehouse processes result in products of maximum quality with minimum costs . Shift: Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm – Moderate OT Expectation

Primary Duties

Supervise a warehouse team in daily workflow and logistics processes

Manage daily operations from product receipt, storage, and distribution to customers

Train new workers in job duties and cross-train for operational flexibility

Train all workers in safety policies

Attend company and departmental meetings

Interpret company policies and enforce safety/OSHA regulations

Complete supervisory reports for work-related accidents

Analyze and resolve work/employee problems

Recommend personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary measures

Use continuous improvement philosophy to enhance current standards

Prepare annual employee performance reviews

Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by following policies and procedures

Control inventory levels through physical counts and system reconciliation

Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse

Oversee daily inspections of warehouse equipment

Follow transportation and distribution procedures to maximize delivery efficiency

Qualifications

Physically fit and able to occasionally lift up to 100 lbs

Able to reach, swivel, carry items, speak, and actively listen; noise level is usually moderate

Proven leadership skills with a proactive attitude

Strong attention to detail and safety

Experience with computerized inventory systems

Highly organized

Analytical problem-solving ability

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education / Experience
  • Required High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in warehouse or logistics
  • Minimum 3 years experience as Supervisor or Manager
  • Proficient with Outlook, Excel, Word, PDFs
  • SAP experience (Can train)
  • First Aid Certification (Can train)
  • Heavy duty truck industry experience preferred but not require
