Overview

Sunwapta Falls Rocky Mountain Lodge, Jasper, AB — $17 per hour, full-time. Seasonal property; positions start May 7, 2025 and end October 2025. For international applicants, note there are no LMIA spots available at this time. The lodge is in a busy remote location with cabins outside and lots of walking daily. This role is part of the housekeeping team and focuses on maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of public and staff areas to high standards. The shift begins at 6:00 am and runs until 2:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in public areas (restaurant, gift shop).
• Clean and sanitize public washrooms (sinks, toilets, floors) and restock soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
• Assist the housekeepers in the morning by clearing rooms of dirty linen and garbage from guests the night before.
• Make beds on busy days to assist housekeepers if needed.
• Clean and sanitize staff kitchen.
• Report maintenance issues or damaged items to the supervisor.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and clean environment for guests and team members.
• Assist with laundry or other cleaning tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred, but not required; training will be provided to the right candidates.
• Willingness to work outside.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures and guidelines.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Compensation & Benefits

• Wage: $17 per hour plus bonuses.
• Staff accommodation is available for employees over the age of 18 at $4.41 per day.
• Completion Bonus: If the contract is completed you will receive $1 for every hour worked, plus a bonus that will cover the cost of your rent.
• Referral Bonus: $500 if both your contract and your referrals contract are completed.
