About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Personalization Developer with deep expertise in Marketing Cloud Personalization (Interaction Studio). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing personalized customer experiences across web and email channels. This role involves both technical implementation and strategic consultation to help drive real-time engagement and tailored interactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and implement Marketing Cloud Personalization (Interaction Studio), including data feeds, user profiles, and real‑time behavioral tracking.
  • Design and deploy personalization campaigns, rules, templates, and recommendation strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing and CX teams to translate business requirements into scalable personalization use cases.
  • Develop personalized web experiences using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Build dynamic, data‑driven content using AMPscript and Server‑Side JavaScript (SSJS).
  • Integrate Marketing Cloud Personalization with other Salesforce Marketing Cloud components such as Journey Builder, Email Studio, Mobile Studio, and CDP.
  • Leverage REST/SOAP APIs for data exchange, event tracking, and personalization automation.
  • Support data ingestion processes, identity resolution, and profile unification for accurate personalization.
  • Monitor personalization performance metrics and provide insights to continuously optimize engagement.
  • Ensure adherence to GDPR, CCPA, and organizational data privacy standards.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including marketing, analytics, CRM, and engineering.
Required Technical Skills
  • Minimum 7+ years of work experience in Salesforce.com Projects.
  • Strong expertise in Salesforce.com standard functionality and features (Sales, Services and Marketing), Apex Programming and Force.com Capabilities.
  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing Cloud Personalization (Interaction Studio).
  • Strong hands‑on experience configuring Marketing Cloud Personalization (Interaction Studio).
  • Expertise in designing personalization strategies, decision rules, and recommendation logic.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript for dynamic and personalized web components.
  • Hands‑on experience with AMPscript and SSJS for personalized email and web content.
  • Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, data modeling, and ingestion pipelines.
  • Knowledge of user identity resolution, profile stitching, and behavioral data management.
Business & Functional Skills
  • Strong knowledge of Audience Segmentation, real‑time interactions, and Journey Builder integration.
  • Ability to analyze engagement metrics and optimize personalization strategies.
  • Familiarity with Customer Data Platform (CDP) concepts and data‑driven targeting.
  • Understanding of data governance, privacy, and compliance requirements (GDPR/CCPA).
