Overview

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Maintenance Supervisor role in Burlington, WA. Key Responsibilities
  • Implement new equipment technologies for manufacturing and quality improvements, including equipment upgrades, process technologies, tooling, and manufacturing techniques.
  • Supervise and plan the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and processes within the facility.
  • Coordinate product and process design changes to ensure efficiency and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with management, production, and marketing/sales teams to discuss project specifications and procedures.
  • Analyze technology, resources, and market/customer demands to plan and assess project feasibility.
  • Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, enforcing policies, and assisting in purchasing decisions.
  • Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in purchasing maintenance materials and contracting technical services in accordance with company procedures.
  • Assist in establishing and implementing a systematic preventative maintenance program with the Maintenance and Reliability Manager.
  • Investigate equipment failures and unexpected breakdowns, providing corrective actions to improve reliability and performance.
  • Supervise preventive and predictive maintenance (PM/PD) plans using automated software packages.
  • Monitor parts requests to maintain adequate inventory levels and ensure cost efficiencies within budget.
  • Lead continuous improvement (CI) initiatives and provide regular status updates to management.
  • Ensure equipment and processes operate optimally at all times.
  • Provide technical support to production teams as needed.
  • Select and coordinate appropriate resources (contractors, suppliers, etc.) to minimize costs and ensure on-time, on-budget completion.
  • Enforce all legislative requirements and maintain compliance with safety and environmental standards.
  • Promote a positive team environment and motivate staff to achieve operational goals.
  • Actively work to minimize the risk of accidents and environmental impact.
Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, mechanical, and robotics systems.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, electrical/mechanical/pneumatic/hydraulic schematics, and ladder/function block logic.
  • Working knowledge of industrial PCs and PLCs (Siemens Step 7, Beckhoff Twin Cat) and electric circuitry components including contactors, relays, voltage systems, limit switches, and proximity sensors.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
