• Previous kitchen services experience preferred, but not essential.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, twist, and be exposed to various conditions.

Responsibilities

• Loads/unloads dishes into cleaning machines and stores clean dishes.
• Maintains cleanliness in storage rooms and kitchens.
• Removes food from dishes and places dirty dishes on conveyor.
• Steams clean and scrubs tile surfaces and floors.
• Wheels garbage pails to compactors and compacts waste.

Job Type: Part-Time Wages: Start Rate: $17.71; 520 Hour Rate: $19.93; 1-Year Rate: $22.14

Key Responsibilities

• Loads/unloads dishes, glassware and cutlery into our top‑quality cleaning machines/equipment and store clean dishes.
• Maintains back of house areas including storage rooms, kitchens, utilities, halls and bars.
• Removes food from dishes and place dirty dishes on conveyor belt.
• Steam clean and scrub tile surfaces, floors.
• Picks up and wheels garbage pails from back of house areas to compactors.
• Loads and compacts cardboard, tin and garbage into compactors.

What You Bring

• Previous kitchen services experience and knowledge of cleaning equipment/chemicals is preferred, but not essential.
• Able to lift, push and pull heavy objects of up to 50 kg repeatedly during the course of a shift.
• Able to constantly stand, walk, bend, twist and be exposed to heat, chemicals, noise, steam, odors and slippery floors.
