The role of the Co-manager is to assist the Store Manager in leading the operational execution of the store to ensure exceptional customer experiences and drive profitable sales growth. They focus on personal sales, demonstrating and coaching La Senza selling behaviors to foster a high-performance selling culture within their team and achieve sales goals. Role and Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in creating a store environment focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences and demonstrating company selling behaviors.
- Participate in sales leadership by coaching and developing associates according to the company's selling behaviors.
- Manage and resolve customer relations issues.
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and ensuring the store is fully staffed per company guidelines.
- Support the talent management lifecycle of Sales Associates, including assessment, training, retention, career development, succession planning, and recognition.
- Lead and delegate the execution of company initiatives.
- Create a positive work environment and resolve associate relations issues effectively.
- Support inventory processes and strategies to reduce shrinkage.
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, including damages, transfers, and compliance-related items.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and execute sell-down strategies.
- Analyze business performance and create SMART action plans to optimize results and ensure effective operational execution.
- Assist in creating weekly schedules, managing payroll budgets, and controlling expenses.
- Ensure replenishment processes are efficient and the sales floor is well-stocked with diverse styles, colors, and sizes, following brand guidelines.
- Support activities that promote a safe working environment.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and store maintenance.
- Lead professionally, guided by company values.
Key Success Criteria
- 1-3 years of retail supervisory or management experience, preferably in clothing.
- Ability to foster exceptional customer service and optimize selling models.
- Effective delegation, follow-up, and communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Talent assessment, coaching, performance management skills.
- Strong business acumen with strategic and analytical capabilities.
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and non-business hours.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple priorities.
- Professional demeanor aligned with brand and company standards.
Wage Range: $21-23/hour
