The Opportunity

As an Account Executive at VoPay, you will be responsible for selling VoPay’s innovative Fintech-As-A-Service platform and related services to clients in different industries, primarily in Canada and the US. This position will work closely with:

  • Marketing team on converting generated leads into signed customers.
  • Implementation Specialists and Account Managers for client handoff once the contract is signed.
  • Director of Sales to ensure targets and KPIs are met.
Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the sales performance including prospecting, lead qualification, customer development, exceeding sales quotas and representing VoPay with the highest degree of advocacy and professionalism.
  • Partner with the Marketing team to execute sales cycles against inbound and targeted outbound prospects.
  • Support Business Development goals through consistent, high-volume prospecting initiatives.
  • Identify clients' challenges and leverage your product expertise to offer appropriate solutions.
  • Collaborate with all VoPay teams to drive personal and company success including Marketing, Technical solutions, Onboarding, and Customer Success.
  • Use HubSpot to record and update all applicable sales cycle activity, progress and pipeline to ensure accurate and timely reporting and analytics.
  • Adhere to the VoPay standards of system use, sales cycle management and sales certification including identifying and reporting improvements to drive performance across the Team.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in a quota-carrying Sales Executive or equivalent role, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Experience as a sales professional in FinTech and/or SaaS industries
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce to manage pipelines and track sales performance
  • Proven success in outbound sales, LinkedIn prospecting, and account-based marketing (ABM)
  • Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, Engineering departments, and key decision-makers across organizations
  • Strong, self-driven mentality is essential; experience in a mid-stage start-up is a plus;
  • A passion for delivering customer success—dedicated to securing the right outcomes and acting as a true advocate for clients
  • Excellent team spirit and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams, building consensus and driving results
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to guide customers and spot opportunities for growth

Base Salary Range: $80,000-$90,000 based on experience.
