AWS Developer with SFMC

• Initiate new, and improve existing, systems processes
• Hands‑on development and coding as needed, serving as a senior developer and technical expert.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
• Participate / assist in development of deployment plans for the systems developed.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned
• Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least 5+ years of hands‑on experience developing and deploying solutions on AWS.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure data integration pipelines between AWS services and Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This includes using a variety of AWS services like AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, Amazon EventBridge, AWS AppFlow, and AWS Glue.
• Develop processes for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data between SFMC and data warehouses or data lakes hosted on AWS.
• Work closely with marketing teams, Salesforce administrators, and other developers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Serve as a subject matter expert.
• Experience integrating Salesforce Marketing Cloud with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, SQS, API Gateway, EC2) is highly desired.
• Demonstrable experience integrating Salesforce Marketing Cloud with other systems, particularly AWS services
• AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect certification is highly desirable. Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer or Email Specialist certification is a strong plus.
