Job Mission

Are you driven by technical challenges and eager to be part of a global company leading the transformation toward safer more sustainable and efficient industrial operations ABB is looking for a Senior Field Technician to join the Process Industries (PAPI) division . In this role you will provide technical support to clients in the Pulp & Paper Mining and Metallurgy sectors performing preventive and corrective maintenance and ensuring high-quality service with a focus on innovation and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities

• Inspection and Maintenance: Perform medium-complexity preventive and corrective maintenance including equipment inspection, disassembly, failure analysis, repairs, and calibration.
• Diagnostics and Troubleshooting: Identify system failures, recommend and implement corrective actions, and suggest improvements to prevent recurrence.
• Operational Support: Operate maintenance tools and equipment ensuring the organization and availability of materials required for field service.
• Technical Documentation: Record identified failures, investigate root causes, prepare detailed technical reports, and document field activities.
• Technical and Commercial Support: Provide technical support to commercial and administrative teams, attend field events and ensure the quality of instruments and procedures used.

Mandatory Requirements

• Proven experience with field activities involving low and medium voltage drives.
• Full availability for travel (national and international).

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of PLCs and motors.

Preferred location

Santa Catarina, Paraná or São Paulo.
