Your role and responsibilities

Overview: To be the main responsible person at Motion Brazil for the Water and Sanitation Segment, ensuring the execution of the sales strategy for the complete portfolio in the country through planning, leadership, and development of the sales team, aiming to achieve qualitative and quantitative goals for products, systems, and/or services profitably, reaching sales objectives and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities: Create, plan, and implement sales strategies and initiatives for the segment through business development, in alignment with the defined strategy, aiming for budget and sales efficiency targets. Establish and achieve sales objectives through regular supervision of the Sales team, defining and implementing improvement plans as necessary, providing and facilitating resources to ensure the performance of the Front-end Sales team. Identify opportunities in new (Hunt), existing (Farm), and potential clients, according to the defined strategy for the segment and focus on the client list agreed upon with the FES (Front-end Sales) team, Product Managers, and Sales Managers in budget definition meetings. Ensure the achievement of objectives by monitoring, providing market information, sharing information, coordinating the sales transaction flow, including leads, orders, contracts, etc. Ensure efficient marketing communications and establish customer relationships, supporting the development of strong relationships with key clients and major decision-makers. Continuously manage resources, ensuring the achievement of defined sales volume and product mix targets through established channels, as well as participating in key contract negotiations. Identify and manage potential risks related to contracts between clients/channels, monitoring the client's financial status and reporting any changes in risk to relevant internal teams. Lead the sales processes related to the segment, all relevant plans, actions, and training and development programs, ensuring the team is engaged and integrated into their objectives. Ensure the leadership and development of the FES team (with the support of the Sales Manager and the Internal HR Consultant), aiming to maintain a healthy, organized environment with qualified and focused personnel, controlling and ensuring the sharing of know-how and cross-collaboration, facilitating the necessary infrastructure for the development and motivation of direct and indirect subordinates in HR policies. Disseminate the culture of Health, Safety at Work, Integrity, Ethics, and Operational Excellence.

Qualifications for the role
  • Education: Bachelor's degree - preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or related fields.
  • Mandatory: Extensive experience serving public and private clients in the Water and Sanitation segment.
  • Mandatory: Knowledge of sales processes, methodologies, and tools, contract analysis, and risk management.
  • Differential: Preferable technical knowledge of the product portfolio including Drives, PLCs, and Electric Motors.
  • Language: Fluent English is essential for communication with global teams in the segment.
