How you will contribute
You will ensure that delivered services are optimized to meet business demands and the service operations strategy, plan, measure, report, and communicate service improvement initiatives, serving as a consultant on issues and resolutions. You will also recommend actions to optimize investments and benefits and mitigate risks. This role involves identifying suppliers, evaluating and onboarding new vendors, establishing and managing vendor governance; collaborating with management and following up on requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and payments; working with project resources to provide design collateral and configure software components aligned with security policies; and ensuring adherence to development and configuration standards and processes.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain backend data solutions and analytics based on GCP, ensuring end-to-end ownership and robustness.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams, including architects, data ingestion specialists, schedulers, business analysts, and front-end developers, providing leadership and project management for new GCP component implementations and enhancements.
- Operate in a DevOps mode, leading best practices in cloud development, deployment, and maintenance, working closely with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency, ensuring compliance with standards and expectations.
- Ensure all cloud solutions meet security and compliance requirements.
- Mentor junior developers, fostering a learning environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to existing products, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Stay updated with the latest cloud architecture standards and GCP technologies.
- Participate in code and design reviews to ensure high-quality software and solutions.
Requisitos
- Fluent English for team meetings
- Experience in cloud computing, especially as a developer with GCP and BigQuery
- Proficiency in GCP services, notably BigQuery and Google Cloud Storage
- Experience in optimizing BigQuery queries and preparing backend data for integration with tools like Tableau and Power BI
- Experience in scripting with Python for data processing
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data ingestion processes
- Knowledge of Talent is a plus
- Proven ability to estimate, plan, and document projects, including high-level and technical design documents
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools like Jira
- Complete degree
