Our client is seeking a Professional Services Inventory Quality Assurance Engineer who is passionate about solving complex challenges and ensuring the highest standards of software quality. The ideal candidate will work within a team of software experts and architects to deliver the Client Inventory and Service Provisioning Platform —covering path computation, feasibility checks, service fulfillment, provisioning, activation, and network and inventory management.
This role requires a hands‑on QA engineer who thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment and takes pride in building reliable, scalable, and high‑quality solutions through rigorous testing and automation.
5+ years of overall experience testing commercial software, including 3+ years in automation and manual testing of network inventory management, service fulfillment, and provisioning software.
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies , test design, and automation frameworks.
Experience implementing manual and automated end-to-end UI testing using Protractor, Jasmine, and Cucumber.
Experience implementing API testing using SoapUI, Postman , or similar tools.
Hands‑on experience testing under Linux / Unix environments.
Proficiency with database querying (SQL) for debugging and data validation.
Knowledge of OSS Inventory and Automation domains and telecom technologies such as EDI, EPL, EVPL, SD-WAN, Dark Fiber, OTT, DWDM / OTN, SONET, MPLS, GPON, FTTH , etc.
Experience with virtualization technologies such as Docker, Vagrant, OpenStack, VMware, KVM, libvirt.
Working knowledge of GitLab, GitLab CI / CD, JIRA, TestRail, and TeamCity.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
