Job description

Role Summary

The Strategic IT BRM for BGS and Rest of World (ROW) will serve as a critical interface between the business and global IT, shaping and delivering technology that enables growth, operational excellence, and transformation. This role is pivotal to executing our enterprise strategy in dynamic and diverse markets and will be accountable for translating business needs into IT priorities that deliver measurable impact.

This leader will drive alignment between regional business priorities and enterprise technology platforms, steward change management across countries, and elevate the IT function as a value-creating business partner. The role requires a strategic mindset, strong delivery discipline, and the ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity across both business and technology domains.

This position will be based in Dubai and will report directly to the Global CIO, with a matrix reporting line to the EVP & President, BGS and ROW.

Responsibilities

Shape and Align Regional Technology Strategy

  • Serve as the strategic IT partner to BGS and ROW business leadership.
  • Translate business strategy into a prioritized IT roadmap aligned with global standards.
  • Lead regional input into enterprise technology design, advocating for local requirements.
  • Proactively identify and address legacy technology risks, gaps, and opportunities.

Deliver Technology that Drives Business Results

  • Lead end-to-end execution of regional technology initiativesfrom ideation through delivery.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned to enterprise architecture and standards.
  • Drive adoption of digital capabilities (e.g., AI, automation, analytics) that unlock value.
  • Monitor performance and ensure continuous improvement in service delivery.

Build and Lead High-Performing Teams

  • Develop and manage a high-impact regional IT team, structured to meet business needs.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development to elevate capability and engagement.
  • Lead recruitment and succession planning for critical IT talent in-region.

Foster Business and Technology Integration

  • Actively engage with regional business leaders to understand challenges and influence planning.
  • Build trusted relationships with global IT leadersCISO, CTO, Infrastructure, and Applications.
  • Champion cross-functional collaboration and integrated solution delivery.

Candidate Profile

Education

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related field
  • MBA or equivalent preferred.

Professional Experience

  • 15+ years of progressive IT experience within global, complex organizations.
  • Proven success in business relationship management, IT strategy, and enterprise applications.
  • Experience operating in matrixed, multinational environmentsideally services or logistics
  • Skilled in transformation, change management, and delivering technology at scale.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to bridge technical and business discussions.
  • Strong track record of delivering business value through technology.
  • Skilled in managing through change and ambiguity in a transformation context.
