Dubai MEP Planner: Schedule, Compliance & Cost Savings
Job summary
A leading engineering firm in Dubai is seeking an MEP Planner to oversee the planning process for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing activities in projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of MEP planning experience, a relevant degree, and proficiency in project management tools like Primavera and Microsoft Project. Responsibilities include developing project schedules, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with standards. This position offers a stimulating environment for professionals passionate about MEP planning.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP planning, preferably in construction.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, codes, and standards.
- Knowledge of local regulations related to MEP work in Dubai preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed MEP project schedules.
- Collaborate with project management to identify objectives and risks.
- Monitor and track progress of MEP activities.
- Coordinate with subcontractors for timely delivery.
- Review MEP drawings for compliance with project requirements.
- Conduct site visits to monitor MEP work progress.
- Prepare progress reports for the project management team.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings in MEP planning.
