Job Title: Planning Manager – Infrastructure (Roads & Bridges)

We are seeking an experienced Planning Manager with a strong background in infrastructure projects, specifically in roads, highways, and bridges. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 15 years of planning and project controls experience and must be based in the UAE. This role requires strong expertise in project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and reporting for large-scale infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, manage, and monitor project master schedules for road and bridge infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare detailed construction schedules, resource plans, and cost‑loaded programs using industry‑standard tools (e.g., Primavera P6).
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineering teams, and site teams to ensure project timelines are achievable and aligned.
  • Track project progress and identify risks, delays, and mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare regular progress reports, delay analysis, and project recovery plans.
  • Monitor and review subcontractor schedules and ensure alignment with the main project schedule.
  • Conduct schedule impact analysis for variations, extensions of time (EOT), and claims.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements, and best planning practices.
  • Participate in project review meetings with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
  • Provide strategic planning input during tender submissions and project start‑up phases.

Requirements

Minimum 15 years

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in project planning and controls.
  • Proven experience in roads, highways, and bridges projects in the UAE or GCC.
  • Strong command of Primavera P6, MS Project, and other planning tools.
  • Excellent understanding of civil engineering construction processes and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  • Must be currently based in the UAE.
