Job summary
An established recruiting platform is seeking a project planner for a 6-month contract starting in September. The role involves managing project schedules, coordinating tasks, and optimizing resources. We are looking to recruit a project planner for 6 months to start tentatively by September.
Description:
A project planner is responsible for meticulously crafting and managing project schedules, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure the completion of projects. They are critical in coordinating tasks, optimizing resource usage, and mitigating potential delays.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules that outline tasks, milestones, and deadlines
- Liaising with site teams and other related professionals
- Monitor project timelines and make adjustments as needed to ensure completion
- Identify shortcomings and advise on action plans on cost-reduction efforts
- Work very closely with Project Director or Project Manager to plan, schedule, and program major projects with your desired Planning Program.
- Maintain accurate project documentation such as resource plans, change orders, labor, and expenses
- Complete JD shall be discussed to the successful candidate
Requirements:
- Proficient using Primavera P6 or another relevant planning package able to schedule and program projects and create master schedules, reporting etc
- Skillful in Microsoft project
- A practical-minded hands-on approach coupled with excellent communication and people skills.
- A solutions-orientated attitude with a desire to progress within field of engineering.
Salary may vary depending on the experience of the candidate.
