Tax Specialist-Jobs in Deutschland

We're on the lookout for a tax-savvy professional who knows their way around compliance, loves a good process, and can bring clarity to complexity. If you're someone who enjoys collaborating across teams, keeping things ticking behind the scenes, and making tax less taxing, this could be the role for you.

1. Preparing a variety of tax returns (withholding tax, VAT, corporate income tax) across several countries — UAE, KSA, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Lebanon
2. Coordinating with both internal teams and outside contacts to make sure tax certificates get renewed on time
3. Helping clients obtain the right tax documents and managing refund/credit requests with the tax authorities
4. Assisting with the recovery of withheld funds from clients in Kuwait (support provided)
5. Guiding vendors — including our own affiliates — through the process of obtaining their tax certificates
6. Reviewing vendor payments weekly to ensure compliance
7. Working with treasury to plan for tax payments and avoid financial surprises
8. Posting journals and maintaining tax accounts
9. Reconciling tax general ledger accounts monthly
10. Supporting tax-related system projects such as e-invoicing rollouts, SAP S/4HANA implementation, and VAT setup
11. Assisting the wider tax team with reports, projects, and ad hoc tasks
12. Participating in transformation and implementation initiatives
13. Staying updated on tax news and advising the team on best practices
14. Covering for teammates when needed

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in tax and accounting
• A professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or CA
• Experience with SAP is essential
• Strong knowledge of e-invoicing regulations globally and in the Middle East
• Experience working in tax for a multinational, especially in the region
• Big 4 experience is a plus
