Job summary
A leading architectural firm in Dubai is seeking an experienced Architectural Draftsman to prepare detailed drawings and coordinate with architects and engineers. The ideal candidate should have a diploma or degree in Architecture, 2-5 years of experience (UAE preferred), and proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM is a plus. The role demands the ability to work under pressure and an immediate joining requirement. Competitive salary commensurate with experience offered.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years experience as an Architectural Draftsman (UAE experience preferred).
- Immediate joiner required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings using AutoCAD/Revit.
- Coordinate with architects and engineers for accuracy.
- Modify drawings based on comments and site requirements.
- Ensure compliance with local authorities and codes.
- Prepare shop and as-built drawings.
- Participate in project coordination meetings.
- Maintain proper documentation and drawing records.
- Assist in quantity take-offs and material specifications.
Skills
Education
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, plans, elevations, sections, and layouts using AutoCAD/Revit.
- Coordinate with architects and engineers to ensure accuracy of drawings.
- Modify and update drawings based on comments, site requirements, and design changes.
- Ensure all drawings comply with local authorities, codes, and standards.
- Prepare shop drawings and as-built drawings as required.
- Participate in project coordination meetings when needed.
- Maintain proper documentation and drawing records.
- Assist in quantity take-offs and material specifications if required.
- Diploma or Degree in Architecture or related field.
- 2–5 years experience as an Architectural Draftsman (UAE experience preferred).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of construction details and materials.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Immediate joiner required.
