Job summary
A leading property development firm in the United Arab Emirates is looking for a skilled manager to oversee cost control operations. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with financial governance, lead a team of cost engineers, and manage stakeholder relationships to align project goals. Candidates should have experience in data integrity management and be proficient in ERP systems like Oracle and SAP. This position requires strong leadership abilities and a focus on accurate financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Experience in governance and compliance within cost control frameworks.
- Proven track record in stakeholder management and cross-department collaboration.
- Ability to lead and mentor teams effectively.
Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to internal cost control frameworks and governance.
- Interface with various teams to align cost control objectives.
- Lead and mentor cost engineers in post-contract works.
- Track actual costs vs. budget and prepare monthly reports.
- Evaluate contractor claims and ensure budget alignment.
- Maintain forecasts and cash flow projections.
- Lead the reconciliation and closure of final accounts.
- Ensure data integrity in cost management systems.
