Job summary
A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Civil Engineer with a diploma or associate degree in Civil Engineering for a construction project in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience, specifically in areas such as roads, drainage, or irrigation. Responsibilities include monitoring construction works, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and coordinating with contractors and inspectors. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in construction, specifically in roads, drainage, utilities, or irrigation.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations on construction sites.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and monitor works related to roads utilities traffic management.
- Prepare daily reports and documentation as required by the contract.
- Verify approved materials are used in the work.
- Perform labor compliance interviews and maintain as-built plans.
- Report potential conflicts and issues to the supervisor.

- Recognize potential conflicts issues and problems and report them to the supervisor with proposed solutions.
- Coordinate the work of subconsultants for surveying and material testing.
- Provide general inspection on all construction labor and subcontracted tasks to ensure professional workmanship.
- Verify equipment alignment and balancing operations.
- Participate in the development of quality control reports and procedures.
- Diploma or associate degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in construction with experience in one or more of the following project types: roads drainage utilities or irrigation.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with contractors inspectors and engineers.
- Strong analytic capabilities and the ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations on construction sites.
