Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

Execute the month-end and year-end closing processes in SAP S/4HANA, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Manage and validate vendor and customer invoices, resolving complex discrepancies and ensuring timely processing.

Handle prepayment schedules, depreciation calculations, accruals, and provisions, ensuring compliance with internal financial policies and IFRS.

Perform detailed reconciliations of general ledger accounts, resolving variances promptly.

Conduct bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.

Prepare and post complex journal entries, including recurring and ad hoc entries.

Oversee vendor payments using SAP and banking platforms, ensuring compliance with internal controls and timelines.

Conduct vendor account reconciliations, resolving disputed balances and ensuring accuracy.

Reconcile intercompany transactions and coordinate the issuance of intercompany invoices.

Ensure compliance in reviewing and processing employee expense claims.

Support audit preparations, providing detailed schedules and serving as the primary point of contact for auditors.

Mentor and train junior accounting staff, offering guidance on SAP processes and best practices.

Qualifications & Attributes
We re seeking someone who embodies the following:

Education: Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA, ACCA, or CMA preferred.

Experience: 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, with mandatory UAE experience.

Technical Skills: Must-haves: Expert-level proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and advanced financial accounting skills. Strong understanding of UAE VAT regulations, IFRS standards, and financial compliance requirements.

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex accounting issues independently.

Excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams and international subsidiaries.

Proven leadership potential, with experience mentoring junior finance team members.

Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing financial discrepancies.
