Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Land Surveyor to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing surveying services to our clients that require the accurate measurement of land. You will be required to use technology such as GPS systems and other tools to collect data and measurements of land and buildings for various clients. You will need to maintain accurate records of your work and present the results in a clear and concise manner.
Responsibilities
• Collect data by using various survey techniques such as GPS systems, total station instruments, and other tools;
• Analyze data collected from surveys;
• Prepare sketches, maps, reports, legal descriptions, deed descriptions, topographical profiles;
• Utilize knowledge of mathematics (geometry & trigonometry) to calculate area, volume & elevation;
• Calculate distances between two points using the Pythagorean theorem;
• Utilize computer programs & software such as AutoCAD or similar programs for mapping purposes;
• Maintain records of survey work in accordance with local laws;
• Prepare reports and presentations on findings from surveys.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in surveying or related field;
• Minimum 1 year experience in a related role;
• Proficient in mathematics (geometry & trigonometry);
• Excellent problem solving skills;
• Strong written communication skills;
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
