Your role involves :

• Planning, supervising, and interpreting geotechnical site investigations for marine and coastal structures.
• Evaluating geotechnical parameters for foundation design, dredging, reclamation, and offshore construction.
• Designing and analyzing pile foundations, caissons, quay walls, breakwaters, revetments, and offshore structures.
• Assessing settlement, bearing capacity, and slope stability for marine infrastructure.
• Evaluating the impact of cyclic and dynamic loading on marine foundations.
• Conducting geotechnical risk assessments for marine construction activities.
• Providing geotechnical recommendations for dredging, excavation, and reclamation works.
• Ensuring compliance with UAE construction codes, AD Ports Authority, and Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) geotechnical guidelines.
• Preparing detailed geotechnical reports, feasibility studies, and design justifications for approvals.
• Reviewing and approving geotechnical submissions from contractors and consultants.
• Collaborating with structural, marine, and civil engineers to integrate geotechnical solutions.
• Providing technical guidance to junior engineers and site teams.
• Liaising with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth project execution.
• Minimum 10+ years in geotechnical engineering, with 5+ years in maritime / coastal projects.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Geotechnical, Civil, or Geological Engineering.
• Proficiency in PLAXIS, GeoStudio, Slope / W, LPILE, GRLWEAP, MATLAB, AutoCAD, GIS.
• Expertise in offshore geotechnics, foundation engineering, and marine geohazards.
• Professional accreditation (e.g., PE, CEng, PMP) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
