Job Overview :
The Senior Pipeline Engineer applies best practices and knowledge of internal or external issues to enhance the Pipeline (Eng) discipline within McDermott. They serve as a resource for less experienced colleagues, sharing expertise related to pipeline engineering. They solve complex problems, using discipline-specific knowledge to improve products or services, impacting customers, operational, project, or service activities, and ensuring work adheres to guidelines and policies.
Responsibilities
Prepare and review documentation such as material specifications, design analyses, and reports for pipelines and components, including wall thickness, stability, free-span, and buckling analyses using FEA tools.
Reports to: Department Manager
liaise with: All engineering disciplines, fabrication, safety, document control, procurement, subcontractors, vendors, and customers.
