Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Job Description:

• Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Develop and implement detailed quality control plans and procedures tailored to specific projects and industry standards.
• Utilize measuring instruments and testing equipment to assess product quality and identify defects or deviations from specifications.
• Document inspection results meticulously, ensuring accurate reporting and traceability for continuous improvement efforts.
• Collaborate closely with production teams to address quality issues, providing guidance on best practices to minimize defects.
• Perform root cause analysis on quality failures and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Stay updated with industry regulations and standards to ensure compliance and maintain quality assurance protocols.
• Train and mentor junior inspectors and production staff on quality control processes and quality assurance principles.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management, highlighting quality metrics and improvement initiatives.
• Participate in internal audits and support external audits, ensuring that quality systems are in place and effective.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field preferred for technical proficiency.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a quality control role within manufacturing or a related industry.
• Certifications such as Six Sigma, ISO 9001, or Lean Manufacturing are highly desirable for enhanced credibility.
• Experience in using quality control tools like SPC, FMEA, and root cause analysis techniques to drive improvements.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify subtle defects and inconsistencies in products.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey quality requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities to address quality issues promptly and effectively.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks, demonstrating a proactive approach to quality assurance.
• Physical stamina to perform inspections in various environments, including standing for extended periods and lifting materials as required.
