Job summary

A construction contracting company in the UAE is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to monitor civil works and ensure compliance with quality standards. The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the UAE. Responsibilities include conducting site inspections, preparing quality documentation, and coordinating with stakeholders. Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures is essential. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of construction experience in the UAE.
• Strong background in finishes and external utility civil works.
• Previous experience in a contracting company is mandatory.
• Familiar with QA/QC procedures, standards, and inspection processes.
• Currently based in the UAE and available for immediate joining.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor civil works related to finishes and external utilities.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks.
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation including inspection requests.
• Coordinate with site engineers and subcontractors to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure adherence to approved quality control procedures.
• Verify materials and workmanship against project requirements.
• Report non-conformances and propose corrective actions.
• Support QA/QC engineers in audits and compliance checks.
