Math Teacher-with Middle school experience
The opportunity

Victoria International School of Sharjah is seeking a passionate and experienced Maths Teacher with middle school teaching experience to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work in an international educational environment and contribute to the academic success of our students.

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated maths lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of middle school students
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and implement strategies to support their academic growth
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching practices, curriculum, and assessments
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school policies and procedures
• Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the student experience
• Strong classroom management skills and a passion for student-centered learning

• A bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field, with a teaching certification or diploma
• Minimum of 2 years of successful teaching experience in middle school mathematics, preferably in an international or diverse educational setting
• Excellent subject matter knowledge and the ability to effectively communicate mathematical concepts to students
• Adaptability and cultural sensitivity to thrive in an international school environment
• A great sense of humour
• Team Players
