About the role:
As aCarpenter you will beresponsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. This includes building frameworks, walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs, as well as installing cabinets, shelves, and other woodwork.

Responsibilities

Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials.

Construct and install frameworks, walls, floors, doors, windows, stairs, and partitions.

Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp requirements.

Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed.

Assemble and fasten materials using nails, screws, and adhesives.

Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.

Ensure work is completed according to building codes and safety regulations.

Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as electricians and plumbers.

Requirements:

Proven Experience as a Carpenter from Fit out companies;

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program preferred.

Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment.

Knowledge of building codes and regulations.

Physical strength and stamina.

Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
