Job description
Summary

Responsible for executing shutdowns, startups, and daily operations per established procedures and monitor plant parameters to report abnormalities. Additional duties include performing plant patrols, maintaining logs, overseeing maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols such as the PTW system and QHSE programs.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform shutdowns and startup operations as per the guidelines set by the procedure and supervisors’
  • Pressurize & De-pressurize equipment and pipelines as and when requested / required
  • Monitor identity plant parameters, inform abnormalities, and inform the control room operator if any corrective action is necessary
  • Respond appropriately to plant emergencies according to ERP procedure
  • Review the pressure, delta pressure, temperature and level gauges of all equipment and report the abnormalities to the control room
  • Take gauge readings, analyze, and troubleshoot them as necessary
  • Identify potential hazards, take immediate corrective action where possible, and report occurrences to the control room
  • Act as an Area Authority for PTW system for isolation for all routine planned and break-down maintenance
  • Check level / inventory of chemicals, consumables, etc., ensure they are at targeted rates and restored to normal levels
  • Compile, complete, and submit all necessary reports and documents regarding production operations as required
  • Participate, collaborate, and update various orientations and QHSE programmes to update new changes / techniques
  • Perform all isolation activities required for process equipment, pipelines, and vessels, and prepare certificates, permits, JHA, etc., to perform the job in a safe manner
  • Comply with all Enerflex HR, Quality, HSE, and all the Company policies, procedures, processes, work instructions and guidelines
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor / Manager
Qualifications
  • Minimum a Technical degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Industrial Processes, Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum or equivalent
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem solving, information analysis and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to work under deadline commitments and pressure in both individual and team settings without supervision
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, etc.), PC skills, and CMMS like SAP, Maximo, Oracle, etc.
Physical Requirements

Remote site working conditions, hot and humid climate, long working hours.
