About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pool Technician to join Jumeirah Al Qasr. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Review and understand pool-related requests, bring relevant tools to the site, assess conditions, and carry out tasks accordingly
• Conduct routine maintenance, cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment checks to ensure pools remain safe and operational
• Respond politely to inquiries, provide pool-related information, and resolve guest or operational concerns promptly
• Complete work orders, preventive maintenance, and corrective assignments as directed
• Use proper materials from the engineering store and record all collected items accurately
• Keep logs of all tasks completed, and report damages or issues outside scope to team leaders with recommended solutions

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• One or two years of experience in the same role with a luxury 5-star property; experience in the UAE is desirable.
• Secondary education required; vocational certification and trade qualification preferred.
• Strong technical skills in trade, basic computer literacy, and knowledge of safety and building systems.
• Proficient in English, able to work independently and adapt to diverse environments.
