Piping & Mechanical Engineer – Greenfield CCGT Project
Job summary
A dynamic utility development firm is seeking a Mechanical/Piping Engineer for a temporary project in Taweelah, Abu Dhabi. This role encompasses the full lifecycle of a greenfield CCGT project, focusing on supervision of piping systems and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Candidates should have a degree in mechanical engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience. The position offers an opportunity to work in a highly collaborative environment and contribute to significant infrastructure projects.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of proven experience as a Piping Mechanical Engineer in Power (CCGT) or EPC projects.
- Strong knowledge of turbine systems, HRSG, BOP systems, cooling water systems, and auxiliary equipment.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage various aspects of piping systems in energy and water projects.
- Ensure design complies with project codes and standards.
- Supervise piping fabrication and erection activities on-site.
