Looking for an experienced Librarian to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the library, organizing resources and providing reference services to patrons.

• Manage the library by cataloging new material, organizing existing resources, and maintaining an up-to-date inventory of resources.
• Provide reference services to patrons by retrieving materials from shelves, providing assistance with research projects, and helping patrons locate material within the library.
• Create online databases for patrons to access information quickly and easily.
• Maintain records for circulation statistics as well as overdue materials.
• Develop promotional material such as brochures and flyers for events held at the library.

• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in a library setting
• Knowledge of current trends and technologies in library science
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to move around the library with ease

This position offers an attractive salary of 900 AED per month plus other benefits including health insurance coverage and a great working environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment while helping our patrons find the resources they need.
